Signing In

Create a TapTally account, sign in, and manage your session.

Access to TapTally starts at the login screen. From a single centered card you can either sign in to an existing account or register a new one — use the Sign In and Sign Up tabs at the top of the card to switch between the two.

Signing in

On the Sign In tab:

Field Rules
Email Required. Must be a valid email address.
Password Required. At least 6 characters. Use the eye icon to show or hide it.

Select Sign In to continue. While the request is in flight the button reads Signing In…. If the credentials are wrong you'll see a red alert: "Login failed. Please try again."

Creating an account

Switch to the Sign Up tab:

Field Rules
Email Required. Must be a valid email address.
Password Required. At least 6 characters.
Confirm Password Must match the password exactly, otherwise you'll see "Passwords do not match".

Select Create Account. On success you'll be returned to the Sign In tab to log in with your new credentials.

Sign in with Google

If your administrator has enabled it, a Sign in with Google button appears below the email/password form. Select it, choose your Google account, and you'll be signed straight in — TapTally creates your account automatically on first use (or links Google to an existing account with the same email). If you don't see the button, Google SSO hasn't been configured for your instance. See Configure Google SSO for setup.

Light & dark mode

TapTally supports both light and dark themes. Use the sun / moon toggle in the top header to switch at any time; your choice is remembered on the device.

Signing out

Open the avatar menu in the top-right of the header and choose Logout. This clears your local session and returns you to the login screen.
